Breast Cancer Walk

Breast cancer walks are commonplace throughout the United States. To raise money for development and research of new technologies and treatments that is hoped to one day end breast once and for all and to increase breast cancer awareness are the purposes these ‘noble’ walks serve for.

Some of the famous breast cancer walks conducted in the United States are reviewed in the following.

Revlon Run/Walks to End Breast Cancer:

Revlon is a well-known cosmetic manufacturer who sponsors this annual event for the noble cause of increasing breast cancer awareness in both Los Angeles and New York. Although these walks sponsored by Revlon are some of the largest breast cancer walks, they are one of the more exclusive ones as well.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer:

Throughout the United States the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer walks are one of the many breast cancer walks that keep going on. They are one of the most powerful breast cancer walks, which are annually held in a number of different cities. $55 is the registration cost for this even and you will be to raise $1,800 in donations for participating in any of the events.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure:

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is hosted by Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and held throughout many different United States cities. These walks cover the distance of 5 kilometer. With a free t-shirt, cost ranges between $20 and $25.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks:

Also hosted by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks. These are considered as some of the most hard-hitting breast cancer walks and last for three days with covering 20-mile each day, a total of 60 miles. $90 is the registration cost and the registrants are to raise $2,200 in donations to participate.
