Breast Cancer Societies And Groups

More and more societies and groups are coming at the scene to support and advice not only women breast cancer patients but also to men breast cancer patients. The time is spent not only counseling people by most of these societies and groups, but they are also holding many fund raising campaigns and events for better research opportunities regarding the disease. Some of these societies and groups are also offering treatment to the breast cancer patients who can not afford to pay for the treatment themselves.

We are reviewing some of the well-known societies and groups that are US-based and have been specifically set up to battle breast cancer by providing help to the patients of the disease followed by a list of some other societies and groups.

American Cancer Society (ACS):

ACS is one such society in the United States which is a community based health society and helping the cancer patients to fight all of those cancer types that seem to affect the population including breast cancer.

Cancer Research Foundations of America (CRFA):

A national group, which is focused on the prevention of cancer through both scientific research and educating people.
